XXX Not believing what she had just heard, Dana turned in his arms, looking into his hazel depths. "Fox Mulder are you asking me to marry you? Even though my brother hates your guts and wishes his little sister had never met you? You could get any woman you want and you choose me?" "Yes, the one woman that I desire is right here in front of me. She's smart, witty, and beautiful, did I mention very sexy. I've never met a woman like you Dana I trust you with my life and I want to spend the rest of my days with you." He looked down into her icy blues. "I love you Fox. Yes, I'll marry you." She kissed him on the lips and snuggled in his embrace. "We've got to go to work soon. You better get dressed." Dana got up from his embrace walking toward the bathroom. "Yes, dear." He grinned, walking toward her closet, were he kept one of his suits. After they had showered and went to the office. Fox unlocked the door and sat down at his computer desk looking through his daily email. Nothing new caught his attention. Meanwhile Dana walked into the office with two cups of coffee and a small bag containing two bagels setting it down on his desk, she glanced at his screen. "Fox, what is it?" Dana asked. He took her by surprise grabbing her by the waist pulling her into his lap, kissing her passionately. "Fox, we can't," she whispered against his lips. "Why not?" he whimpered against her neck. "Because we can't; we can finish this later at a more appropriate place." Dana smiled against his lips and ran her hands down his chest, lightly cupping him through his dress pants, making him moan into her ear. "Why, you don't want someone coming down here and seeing us like this?" he chuckled against her overheated skin. "That's part of it." Dana stood in front of him smoothing out her shirt and slacks. "Fine, I understand that my G-woman doesn't want to get caught in the office with her G-man." He teased her, smoothing his dress shirt out. "I almost forgot I have a meeting with Section Chief Blevins in a hour," Dana said as she finished her coffee and bagel. "Oh, damn that's right. The case involving John Barnett." He picked up the mug of coffee and took a sip of the hot liquid. Dana turned and walked out the door but she soon turned and around walked back toward his desk. He held out the folder with the recent reports and she took them in her hand smiling back at him. "Thanks." "Your welcome. I'll see you in a little while." He watched her walk out the office with a slight sway of her hips. F.B.I. Recreation Building Fox Mulder took the opportunity to put some time in the swimming pool area. He swam several laps, dove underwater a few times, and then came up for air. He spotted Dana walking toward him, stopping just a few feet away from the edge of the concrete. Fox swam over to her, looking up at her smiling face. "Just what do you think your doing?" Dana smiled down at him. "What? I thought I would take a swim. Care to join me?" he waggled his eyebrows. "No, I don't need a swim, Fox." Dana crossed her arms over her chest. "So, what did Section Chief Blevins have to say?" "I told him what had happened but I have a feeling that he's going to throw this case out." "That man in black that we had saw in the hospital, he's probably in on it as well," Fox said with a puzzled expression on his face. "Dana, are you going to come in for a swim or not?" He grabbed her high heel, slipping it off her left foot. Dana went to grab her shoe from him, but he slipped it off to quickly for her to take it from his grasp. "Fox, give me back my shoe!" "Nope, not until you come in here and take a swim with me." He teased her. "Alright, but no funny business mister. I don't intend to walk around the Hoover Building without shoes." She took her other high heel off and walked toward the women's locker-room. Dana looked around and to her surprise it was completely empty. Dana walked to her locker where she kept a swimsuit for days when she felt like relieving some stress from a hard day's work. The swimsuit was dark blue and had a bikini top and shorts that had F.B.I. in white letters on the bottom of the hem. It wasn't too sexy since it was a work place facility for other agents to share. As Dana came back walking slowly toward the pool she noticed that Fox had placed her shoe on concrete. She went to pick it up but he came up from under the water and grabbed her arm pulling her down into the water with him. "Fox! I can't believe you did that." Dana wiped the water out of her eyes swatting him on the chest. "Never under estimate the sly fox," he grinned capturing her lips in a slow passionate kiss. Dana broke the kiss and swam away from him splashing some water at him in the process. He let her get a head start before he trailed after her. Taking notice that he was coming up behind her, she sped up her momentum. He dived under water, closed in on her and grabbing her legs yanked her down with him. She struggled for a moment, but realizing she wouldn't get away from his strong grasp and she relaxed into his arms. He pinned her against the edge of the pool. She turned into his arms giggling that infectious laugh and running her hands down his chest, she poked him in the ribs making him chuckle. He kissed down her neck and nibbled at her ear lobe. As he drew back looking at her smiling, she wrapped her arms around his neck twining his hair between her fingers. "Fox, why did you take my damn shoe?" Dana caressed his shoulders. "I just wanted to see you get angry. I love it when you get angry with me, Dana. I just get a kick out of seeing you when you're mad and you can't do anything about it." He grinned at her pulling her flush against his erection making them both moan at the same time. "Fox, I think we should wait. Someone might be watching us." Dana whispered into his ear making him shudder. "So, we'll give them something to look at. They don't care about us anyways." Fox began kissing down her chest and she playful slapped at his chest, pushing him away. He suddenly looked up at her with serious lust in his hazel depths, and she pondered whether to swim away or give into him. She slowly began to walk backwards in the water while he watched her. She made it out of the pool grabbing her shoe in the process, and walking back toward the women's locker room where she was safe, or so she thought. Fox swam quickly and climbed out of the pool dripping wet, walking after Dana. Even though it was the woman's locker room, he was not going to let her get away so soon. Dana grabbed a towel off the shelf and began drying herself off and didn't notice that Fox had slipped into the locker room without her noticing. She had turned her back, drying her hair, when suddenly she felt as if someone was behind her. She didn't turn around soon enough. He slipped his arms around her waist pulling her against him, making her gasp as his erection probed her back. He took the towel from her hands and dropped it to the floor, kissing her on the neck and lightly biting her tendon. She melted against him, loving what this man could do to her. Even though they would risk getting caught in the women's locker room in the Hoover Building she couldn't deny herself the pleasure that this man was giving her and what she would do for him. She turned around facing him, seeing in his eyes that he wanted to take her right there, but she held up her hand in protest. "Fox, we have to stop. I don't want to risk us getting caught like this. Who knows who'll come in here in any moment." "Alright, if you want to stop." Fox frowned looking at her with his puppy dog eyes. "You can come over to my place tonight and we'll have dinner." Dana stroked his cheek and traced her fingertips over his lips. "No interruption." "None." They got dressed, walked back toward the elevator and rode up in silence. The afternoon went by rather quickly and as the day ended they rode down the elevator toward the parking garage. Dana turned around and stopped in front of him. "What time should I expect you?" "Is eight o' clock a good time? I plan on bringing a movie also." Fox smiled at her. "Sure. That'll be great. What movie is it?" Dana lightly placed a kiss on his lips, tugging at his bottom lip. "I doubt you have seen it. It's called "Evil Dead" it really is a scary movie even though it was made in the early eighties." "I don't recall ever watching that movie. Bring your movie and we'll have a romantic dinner." She turned walking toward her car while he watched. Dana Scully's Apartment 8:00 p.m. Dana was in the kitchen checking her clock; she saw the lasagna still had five minutes left to cook. She grabbed a couple glasses from the cabinet, placing them on the table beside the dinner plates, and putting the silverware on the table, she began cutting out the rolls she had made earlier. Suddenly there was a knock on her door. She wiped her hands on the dishtowel as she walked back into the living room and opened the door. Fox Mulder stood leaning up against her doorframe in faded blue jeans, gray t-shirt, sneakers and spiked hair, looking like he just got out of the shower. Dana looked him over smiling her approval. He also noticed that she went to no trouble in the clothes department, just wearing one his old baseball jerseys and a pair of sweatpants. He thought she would look sexy in any of his shirts she chose to wear. She looked down noticing he had something in his hand. "I notice you brought your movie." "Of course I did." "Mmm... Dana I hope you didn't go to too much trouble in fixing us dinner. It smells really delicious." "It's a lasagna dish." Dana stood on her tiptoes giving him a kiss on the lips. She motioned for him to come into her apartment. He handed her the movie and she looked at the cover then placed it on the coffee table. Fox walked into the living room smelling the wonderful aroma of the meal that she had prepared for them this evening. He took off his coat draping it over the back of the couch, and taking off his sneakers tossing them over by the front door wear they made a thud. Fox walked into the kitchen to find Dana standing at the oven cutting the lasagna meal out of the pan. He walked up behind her looking over her shoulder. "Fox, can you hand me the plates on the table?" "Sure." "Fox, there is some wine in the refrigerator can you please get it?" "Yeah, anything for you, my dear." He smiled at her. Fox poured the wine and Dana set the rest of the table with the rolls and salad. They ate their meal in silence, stealing quick glances at each other. Once they finished their meals and placed the dishes into the dishwasher, they retreated back to the living room. Fox sat down on the couch propping his feet up on the coffee table. Dana sat down beside him, lightly nudging his feet off the table with her foot. "Okay, Fox so are we going to watch this movie or what?" Dana flicked the television on with the remote. "Yes, but I've got to warn you this movie is very graphic with blood and gore. Even though it was made back in the early eighties it still freaks me out." "Well, I'll just have to see for myself." Dana put the video in VCR and pushing the play button. The movie started playing the credits, while Dana relaxed into Fox's arms and they cuddled up on the couch. On the television the five college students arrived at a cabin in the woods. They all got out of the car; one of the guys walked up to the house. He looked for a key up on the doorframe; he found it and opened the door. The other's followed him inside with their luggage. They walked into the old cabin, looking around, seeing nothing but dirt and dust. One of the boys found a tape recorder with a tape still in the deck of the machine. They watched the movie in silence even though she tensed in his arms while the young girl was getting attacked in the forest by the demons. Fox looked down at her and nudged her arm; she looked up at him wanting to know why he was interrupting her. "What's the matter Fox? Is it getting too scary for you?" Dana smiled and returned her attention back to the movie. "No, I just realized something. That girl that just got attacked a few minutes ago, you two look so alike you could pass as sisters or cousin even." "Well, thanks for telling me that. As I look at her she does share a resemblance to me. Had you seen this movie before and wouldn't show this to me or did you want this to end up in that other collection that isn't yours." Dana pinched him in the side making him squirm on the couch. "Are we going to finish this movie or not?" Fox grabbed her wrist firmly while laughing with her. "All right, I really would like to finish this, too." Dana turned her attention back to the movie. The movie ended and they sat there stunned at what had happened. Dana ejected the video and returned it to the case. He pulled her down into his lap and she straddled his thighs. "So, what did you think of the movie?" He asked while he caressed her arms and back down to her thighs, then running his hands up inside of her shirt, his fingers brushing the sides of her breasts causing her to flinch. "It was all right. Considering the bloody scenes and gory effects, it was good for an old movie." Dana started to kiss his neck and nibble at his earlobe. She slipped her hands up under his shirt and untucked it from his jeans, pulling it over his head, tossing it to the side, revealed the well-toned Fox Mulder. "Oh, so your going to play it that way are you?" He took the hem of the jersey and pulled it up over her head. He started to take the bra straps off her shoulders, when she surprised him by getting up and grabbing his hand. "Bedroom, now," Dana said tugging at the belt loops on his jeans. He grabbed her waist, pulling her into his passionate kiss. She returned it and then walked toward the bedroom. Looking back over her shoulder, seeing him disheveled and half naked in her living room made her knees go weak. She reached the bedroom; before she even got a chance to turn around, Fox was behind her, pulling her into his embrace. She settled back into his chest, feeling the sparse hair on his chest rub against her back. He lavished, nipped and kissed his way down her back, slowly tracing small circles on her belly, making her shiver at the slightest touch of his fingertips. He tugged at her sweatpants and pulled them down with her panties inhaling her scent. The sweatpants were now discarded, now her was body free for him to touch, kiss, nibble and lick. But Dana tugged him back up to her and captured his lips in a feverish kiss. They gasped for air. Placing a kiss on her cheek he began kissing and licking down her chest, taking one nipple into his mouth then the other, he made his way down her abdomen dipping his tongue into her navel causing her to jerk suddenly. He looked up at her with desire; she had seen this look many times when they were together like this. He stroked her entrance with one finger then two dipping inside her wet heat. He then dipped his tongue into her core licking, nipping and teasing the bud. She grasped a handful of his hair between her fingers soothing and moving against his mouth. "Oh... Fox." "Mmm... so good." He mumbled between licks and nibbles while he lapped at her juices, she came into his mouth. He licked and nipped back up to her chest looking at her flushed face. She opened her eyes and looked at him with a playful smile on her lips. She unbuttoned his jeans, dragging his boxers down in the process dropping them on the floor in a heap. She then pushed him down on the bed playfully and landed on top of him, straddling him. She kissed him hard, plunging her tongue into his welcoming mouth. He wrapped his arms around her tiny frame enveloping her completely. Suddenly she pulled away from his mouth and started down his neck and chest taking a nipple into her mouth lightly biting it. Then she continued downward until she found his engorged flesh that was dripping with precum. As she licked around the sensitive area and then his balls, she tortured him with feather light kisses on the head of his penis, then gently rolling his scrotum in her hand a strand of her hair brushed the inside of his thigh driving him crazy. She took him deep into her mouth slowly withdrawing, then taking all of him back into her mouth again. He smoothed her hair into his fingers while she brought him over the edge. "Dana... get up here... now," he managed to whisper. He came into her mouth moaning her name. She finally slipped him out of her mouth, crawled back up to his chest, and after placing a kiss on his throat; she raised her head and looked down at him. He touched the side of her cheek with his hand pulling her down into his kiss. She entangled her legs with his, rolling over taking and taking him with her. He slipped his cock into her wet core. Then he slowly began pushing in and out of her, while she matched his movements. He pushed in all the way until he thought he would explode; keeping up the pace, they were both on the brink of orgasm. "Shit... Dana... you feel so... good..." he whispered into her neck and kissing the tendon. "Oh... Fox... feel so tight..." she nipped at his earlobe. A few more strokes and they came together. He rolled off her pulling her into his chest and running his hand down her arm and back up. He smoothed a strand of hair out of her eyes and looked down at the amazing woman in his arms. The room temperature cooled down and he pulled the satin sheet up over their sweat soaked bodies. Friday Dana's Scully's Apartment 7:00 a.m. The morning sun peeked through the window blinds causing a very sleepy Fox Mulder to roll over. He realized that he was not in his own bed because he was in a rather clean looking bedroom and a very pretty red head was in bed with him. It's not like he couldn't get a woman. It just that this woman was the one for him; she understood him and loved him for who he was. He spooned up behind her lightly kissing her neck and placing wet kisses down her spine and back up to her shoulders. "It's Friday Dana, why don't we call in sick today?" "It's going to look strange for both of us calling in, don't you think?" she turned in his arms and smiled. "So, what?" He looked at her with his irresistible puppy dog look and his pouty lip. "Alright, you win." She captured his bottom lip between her teeth smoothing it over with her tongue. Dana called the secretary around seven thirty and Fox called in thirty minutes later. Dana went to shower while Fox slept in. She came out wrapped in a blue silk robe and finished combing her hair out and tying the knot on the robe. She walked back into the bedroom and watched Fox sleep in a peaceful slumber. After a few moments watching him sleep she decided to make breakfast. She poured the pancake batter in the frying pan and a slice of bacon was added to the meal. After dishing the food out onto plates, she looked up and saw that Fox had woken up and was standing in the kitchen doorway in boxer's with a smile on his face. Dana reached for a couple of glasses in the cabinet setting them down on the table, and opening the refrigerator door retrieved the orange juice. He walked over to her wrapping his arms around her waist hugging her to him, kissing her neck, rubbing his day old stubble on her sensitive cheek. "I see that you're finally going to join me for breakfast." Dana leaned back into his embrace. "Of course I am. I love your cooking, Dana." He gave her a quick kiss and sat down. "Thanks." She smiled and sat down across from him and watched him eat his breakfast. After breakfast Dana went into the bedroom to change out of her robe, walked into the bedroom and put on a pair of blue jeans and dark blue t-shirt. Fox walked into the bedroom to watch her. She looked at her reflection in the mirror and noticed that he was staring at her. She turned around and walked toward him extending her arms and wrapped them around his waist hugging him. He welcomed her into his embrace hugging her back. "So, where are you going?" He nuzzled her neck placing a quick kiss there and releasing her. "I'm going to check my mail. You care to hang out here until I get back?" She looked up at him with a dazzling smile. "Sure." "Okay. I'll be right back." She gave him a quick kiss and walked over to the door putting her shoes on, slipping out the door. He walked over to the dresser, grabbing a pair of jeans and a black t-shirt out of the dresser. Meanwhile Dana rode the elevator down to check her mail; she took out her mailbox key opening the slot and retrieved her mail. She looked through a bunch of advertisements, a couple of utility bills and an invitation. She rode the elevator back up to her apartment and opened the door. Fox was sitting on the couch drinking a cup of coffee. Dana walked over sitting down beside him and tossing the advertisements on the coffee table. "So, anything good?" Fox picked up the advertisement off the coffee table. "Yes, there is an invitation from Sherry and Joey." "Well, what does it say?" he leaned over trying to take a peek at the letter. "There are inviting us to their wedding. The service is going to be held at the St. Thomas Catholic Church and father John will service the wedding Friday, at the end of the month." "That means we only got a couple of weeks to prepare. It'll give you time to catch up with Sherry and make plans with her or help out with the wedding." Fox said picking up the paper, sliding his glasses on his nose. "So, that means you might be helping to plan a wedding?" Fox looked up from his paper. "Yes, I'm going to help her out if she needs me and if you have something to say you had better say it, Fox." She poked him in the side causing him to jump. "No, I've got no problem with it unless you'd rather stay right here and make out with me?" he waggled his eyebrows at her. "Fox Mulder are asking me to ditch my long time friend and make out in my living room? That's very tempting even with your glasses on. You know what they do to me, don't you Fox?" she tossed the mail onto the table inching her way over to him settling on his lap. He dropped the newspaper and circled her waist and began kissing her neck and nibbling on her earlobe. She drew back and looked into his face and kissed him on the lips passionately leaning him back into the couch cushion. The phone rang. "Don't get it." Fox moaned. "What if it's an emergency phone call? It could be my mother you know? Or your mother?" Dana leaned back on her heels. "All right. You better get it." "Hello," Dana said into the receiver. "Dana, is that you?" the young woman said into the other end of the line. "Sherry, I was about to call you myself. I just got your invitation today." "That's great, Dana. Can I ask you a favor?" "Sure." "Could you help me in making arrangements for the wedding service? I know I'm asking you for a big favor. It's up to you if you want to help me." "Yeah, I would love to help out." "Great thanks, Dana. I'm making arrangements at my house. My mother is helping out too, so if you could drop by my house Tuesday at noon, that would be fine." "Okay, just give me your address and directions. I'll be there." Dana wrote down her address and the directions to take to get to Sherry's house and said goodbye to her friend, hanging up the phone. "So, what did she say?" "She's needing extra help with the wedding arrangements." "Where's that leave me?" "Well, I don't know. You can stay here or go to the office or visit the guys." "I'll keep myself busy." He smiled at her. He wanted to go house hunting to get the both of them out of their apartments. He wanted a house to call his own but he was going to keep it a secret for now. Plus he needed to pick their rings out while she was gone. They spent their weekend at the shopping center in D.C. trying to pick out a wedding gift for Sherry and Joey. Dana walked into the department store looking for a gift for Sherry while Fox went in a different direction to make a selection for Joey. They agreed to meet back at the food court in an hour. Dana browsed the lingerie selection purchasing a black silk teddy with red roses across the front with a red bow in the center. Fox went to the electronic store and looked around the television selection and then browsed the personal computers. He finally picked out a twenty seven-inch television and paid for it, giving the directions for delivery at Joey's house. Then he walked into the jewelry store looking at the rings until he spotted the one for Dana. It was a gold band with diamonds on both sides of the ring surrounded by criss crossed shaped miniature "X's" with one diamond in the middle of the ring. He purchased the ring in her size charging it half on one credit card and put the rest on his other credit card. He had plenty of money in the bank and in his trust funds. Money was no object to him just as long as he saw Dana happy; that's what mattered to him the most. Dana was at the food court sitting at one of the tables, when Fox snuck up behind her stealing a kiss on her cheek. She turned around noticing that he was empty handed. "So, what did you get? I don't see any silver and white packages?" "I went into the electronic store and purchased a twenty inch television set for them." Fox sat down in the other chair facing her. "They're going to love it." Dana smiled at him. "I know. That's the reason I bought it. It'll be a nice gift from the both of us." Fox took her hand in his. "I see you got something. Where did you go too?" "I strolled around and finally found myself standing Victoria's Secret. So, I decided I'd get Sherry something nice for the honeymoon." "Oh, did you get anything good." He winked at her. "Yeah, I got her a black teddy. Anything else you want to know?" "You plan on trying it on later?" He waggled his eyebrows. "No, Fox you are such a pig. I can't believe you sometimes." Dana laughed. "So, you want to grab something to eat here or get it on the way home?" "We can grab something to eat on the way home." Dana got up from her chair and grabbing her gift. Fox followed putting his hand on her lower back. Monday morning was the busiest for the two of them at the office. Fox had some paperwork from VCS since he offered to help out on the case as he and Scully didn't have much going on right at the moment. Their recent case involved an interstate prostitution sting. Meanwhile Dana had offered to fill in over at the academy because one of the forensic doctor had been ill for the past two days. Fox finished up reviewing the reports. There was a conference at one o'clock, which was about an hour away. He decided to call Dana, timing it to her lunchtime. "Scully." "Hey, it's me." "Hi. How's it going on that recent case that Agent Chase gave you?" "Well, I'm sorting out the guilty party if that's what you're asking? "So, what's the reason you called me? It can't be that you miss me already, is it?" "You must like reading my mind, Dana. I was getting lonely down here in the basement. I had to hear your voice; it was just killing me not having you here." He smiled in to the receiver. "I'm fine. I'll be going home in a couple of hours." "Okay, I'll probably be home around three. I've got a meeting in a hour." "I guess I'll see you when I get home then, love you." "Love you too." Dana punched the button on the phone smiling. Fox had finished up the day going over the case with the Agent Chase. Dana was at her apartment trying to relax on the couch reading a book when a knock on the door stirred her out of her romance novel. "Dana, are you home?" he called out. "Yeah, hold on a second." Dana unlocked the door looking at a very tired partner. "Come in. How was work?" "Boring. I had to listen to all the other agents opinions before I could leave the building." He shrugged out of his suit and loosened his tie, taking his shoes off and walked over to the couch, collapsing on it. Dana went into the bathroom switching the light on and bringing several candles out of the cabinets placing them on the sink. She walked back into the living room looking down at him knowing that a hot bath would do him some good. "Come on. Let's get you out of these clothes and into the hot tub." "Oh, coming on to me are you, Dana Scully?" he gave her a sexy smile. "As a matter of fact I am." She took his hand in hers and walked into the bathroom and closing the door behind him. They relaxed together in the hot water. The water cooled and they dried each other off retreating back into the bedroom for a peaceful evening. Dana had a big day tomorrow since she had to help out Sherry. Fox would be alone at the office again but he would get through the day, barely. 10:30 a.m. Tuesday Fox followed up on the recent case with Agent Chase and the younger agents. He had gotten a call from Joey earlier that morning to ask a favor. He had asked him to be his best man since his father had taken ill suddenly and was going to be in the hospital. He had a younger brother but he was unexpectedly called for duty in the military. Most of his friends had moved away and had families of their own so he asked the closest friend that he had, Fox. Fox had agreed and Joey had told him that one of Sherry's friends couldn't make it either, so he figured Dana would be one of the bridesmaids and it would give them practice for their own wedding. Dana took the day off from work even though she didn't call off much; she had to make an excuse. Meanwhile, Dana had left her apartment to arrive at Sherry's house. She wanted to avoid the traffic because if she had left later it would be a mad house in the lunch rush hour traffic. Dana arrived at her house in an hour. Sherry's house looked as if it was recently restored. It was an old two story stone house surrounded by rose bushes in the front yard and a big maple tree in the back yard. Dana walked up to the house and knocked on the door. Sherry opened the door and motioned for Dana to come in. Sherry introduced Dana to her mother Gracie, who would be helping out with the wedding arrangements. All afternoon the women planned out Sherry and Joey's wedding. Dana was also getting information on how to do her own wedding plans. Sherry also showed Dana her wedding dress. It was a white dress with lace patterns on the sleeves, a long train following and the veil had string pearls on the side. "Sherry that is a very beautiful dress." Dana looked back her friend. "Thanks, I picked it out a month ago. I really like the fabric design." She smiled. "Dana, I really appreciate your help today." "No problem." Dana looked past her friend and out the window thinking about her own wedding. "Dana, are you alright?" Sherry touched her arm. "Yeah, I'm fine." Dana looked back her friend and smiling. "Something's up with you. Spill the beans, Dana." "Fox asked me to marry him." "Dana, that's great news! I can't believe you two are actually getting married. When? Where? Who's invited?" Sherry asked excitedly. "You're having yours at the end of the month. I was thinking about next weekend, which will be August. We really haven't made plans yet and I haven't even told my family. That I'm going to do at my mother's on Sunday evening." "Oh, one other thing I was going to ask you, Dana. Could you be one of the bridesmaids? My friend Barbara can't make the trip; she and her husband are out of the country so I have to find a replacement. Do you want to take her place?" "Of course, I'd love to." "All right, we just have to get your measurements for the dress and we'll be all set." Sherry walked into the other room getting the measuring tape and writing down her dress size. After that they settled down for the ham sandwiches and tea that Gracie had made for the three of them so they wouldn't go hungry that afternoon. Dana left around four o' clock after helping getting everything ready for her friend's wedding. Now she was thinking of her own to come and how she was going to tell her family. Fox had a busy day at the office. He and Agent Chase busted the main perpetrator that was the leader of the prostitution ring. After he was free he took a road that was away from D.C.'s main district near the Virginia border, to look up a house that was listed in the newspaper as it was up for auction. He finally found it after getting lost and passing it by. He stopped the car and noticed a for sale sign in the yard that was hidden by a shrub. It was a newly built brick home with a pair of granite pillars flanking the front of the front doors. It looked more like an ancient home then a newly built one. He walked around the two- story home admiring the structure and he noticed the big backyard with a swimming pool surrounded by a privacy fence. Suddenly a car had pulled up and he walked around the front of the house to greet an older gentlemen. "Hello, I'm the real estate agent for this place. Can I help you?" the older man said. "Yeah, I really like this place. Can I take a look inside it?" "Sure." They walked into the house and it was perfect for him and Dana. He walked around the living room and noticed it had a fireplace. The kitchen was large and the bathroom was big enough that it had a Jacuzzi installed. It was a four- bedroom home with the master bedroom off to rear of the house. Fox looked outside the window and noticed a field out in the backyard that had a fence stretched as far as the eye could see. "How much are you asking for this place?" "The price is one-hundred thousand dollars. It also includes one hundred acres that you saw fenced in. The property was owned for years by an older couple but soon realized that they couldn't keep up with the workload around the property so they sold it. Are you interested in putting a down payment on this place?" "Yes, can I think it over first." "Of course. You've got to get a second opinion?" he laughed. "How did you guess?" "I see young couples all the time, house hunting and that response is what I hear the most of. Here take my card and call me if your still interested and we can set up an appointment to sign the papers and the legal stuff." "Thanks." He put his business card into his jacket pocket and gave the house a quick look and got into his car heading for Dana's apartment. Dana arrived at her apartment unlocking the door walked into the living room taking her coat off and hanging it up on the coat rack when someone knocked on her door. She opened the door revealing her future husband, Fox Mulder with a take out bag in his hand. "Hi, come on in." "I thought you'd be hungry from your little get together with Sherry." He walked into her apartment handing her the takeout and taking his jacket off and slipping his shoes off. "Actually I'm starving. So, what happened today at work anything interesting?" "We solved the case which was a big deal for Agent Chase. He's been following this guy for months." Dana walked into the kitchen to get a couple plates and silverware and dished the food onto them. He followed her into the kitchen sitting down in the chair. They ate their meal in silence. He put the dishes in the dishwasher and they both walked into the living room cuddling up on the couch watching a little television before they went to bed. "So, did you enjoy your day?" "Yeah, I really did. You want to know something?" "What?" he looked down at her. "Sherry asked me to one of the bridesmaids and the reason why was because one of her closest friends can't make it." "Well, I've got one for you. Joey called me this morning and asked me to be his best man. His father had taken ill suddenly and his younger brother is overseas on a mission." "Are you serious?" Dana pulled out of his arms looking at him and smiling. "Yes, I am. At least we'll have some example of our own wedding." He kissed her on the lips and she pulled away looking into his hazel depths. "What's wrong?" he asked puzzled. "I've got to tell my family about our wedding, especially my mother. I know Bill isn't going to take this lightly." Dana frowned. "Bill will have to get over his little sister getting married to "Spooky Mulder." He pulled her up to her feet and picked her up carrying her to the bedroom and slamming the door. Sunday 9:00 a.m. The day had arrived to tell her mother. Dana looked at the clock on the nightstand and back at Fox's sleeping form. She rolled over and draped her arm over his chest. He woke with the touch of her fingernails tracing patterns on his chest. "What's the matter?" he took her hand in his. "I was just thinking about our wedding." "I figure it will be confusing and everyone rushing around to get things done but when it's all over, guess what? It'll be official then." He waggled his eyebrows and captured her lips with his and nuzzled her neck placing a small kiss there. "Mr. and Mrs. Spooky?" she giggled and he pulled her into another kiss rolling her beneath him. The phone rang and Dana tried to reach for the phone but Fox held her down for a moment kissing and teasing her until he finally let her answer the phone. "Hello." "Dana, are you coming over tonight for dinner?" "Yeah, what time?" "How about five this evening?" "Sure, mom." "I hope that Fox will join you." "Mom, of course he'll be there." "Bye honey." "Bye, Mom." "She's expecting both of us tonight at dinner." "Maybe I'll let them know I popped the question. You don't have to be the one to do it." Fox looked down at her. "You know that Bill is going to be there, don't you?" "I don't care if he's there or not." They showered and got dressed, went out to get breakfast at a local bakery, and then cleaned up the apartment. The time flew by and before they realized it the afternoon was just about over and they left to go have dinner with her family. Sunday 5:00 p.m. Margaret Scully's Residence Margaret had dinner planned for the evening expecting Bill and his girlfriend Tara. She expected Dana and Fox would arrive shortly. But she didn't realize she was in for a surprise. Melissa was helping out in the kitchen when the doorbell rang. Melissa walked through the living room opening the door revealing her big brother Bill and Tara. "Hey, Bill." "Hi, Melissa. This is Tara." He looked back at his sister and at Tara. "Nice to meet you. I'm Melissa. Well, come on in. Mom's in the kitchen fixing dinner." Bill and Tara walked into the living room hanging up their coats on the coat rack. "Mom, Bill and Tara are here. What else do you need for me to do?" "You can set the table and set three extra plates out for Charlie, Dana and Fox." Melissa set the table while Bill and Tara relaxed on the sofa. Maggie checked the roast in the oven, which needed an additional five minutes before it was ready to be served. Fox and Dana had pulled up into the driveway. They noticed another car figuring it was her brother Bill. Fox shut the engine off. They got out of the car and walked up to house and she rang the doorbell. Melissa and Maggie were putting the food on the table. "Bill, could you get that?" Melissa called out to him. "Sure, Melissa. It's probably Charlie." He opened the door stunned to see his little sister with Fox Mulder. "Hello Bill." "Hey, Dana." He opened the door for his sister while Fox stood behind her. The two of them walked into the house and Bill looked at Fox with a frown on his face. Dana and Fox walked into the living room hanging up their coats in the process. Dana went to check out the kitchen and Fox had sat down in the living room recliner. "Dana, honey. I'm glad you made it. Where's Fox?" "He's in the living room, Mom. So, is dinner about ready?" "Yeah, I'm going to take the roast out in a few minutes." Melissa poured the milk in half the glasses and poured iced in the other glasses so that everyone had a choice of their drink. Dana walked into the living room finding Fox sitting in the recliner watching a basketball game. "Fox, dinner is ready." Dana held out her hand and he took it in his and walked into the kitchen while everyone was seated. Dana sat across Tara, Fox sat across Bill while Melissa and Maggie had the ends of the table. Suddenly a knock came and Dana excused herself from the table. Dana opened the door and her younger brother Charlie was on the other side smiling at her. "Charlie! It's been a while since I saw you." She wrapped her arms around him. "Dana, it's good to see you." He picked her up off the ground squeezing her in hug and gently putting her down. "Come in. Dinner is on the table." Dana shut the door and took his coat hanging it up. "Charlie, it's about time you showed up. I'd like you to meet my girlfriend, Tara." Bill said. "Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Charlie." He shook her hand. "Dana, I see you're still with Fox." Charlie smiled at her. "Yes, we're still together." Dana sat down next to Fox. "Charlie, pull up a chair and dig in," his mother said. The evening went smoothly. Fox stood up from the table wanting to say something to the whole family. "Mrs. Scully, I'd like to ask for your blessing or to marry your daughter, Dana." Bill, Charlie, and Melissa looked shocked at the question he just asked their mother. "Only thing I can say is 'yes'. I've known for quiet sometime that you and Dana have been involved but this comes to a surprise to me. I'm happy for the both of you." "Mom, you're just going to say it's alright for this guy to marry Dana?" Bill spoke up. "Oh, be quiet Bill. You just don't want Dana to be happy." Melissa picked up her plate taking it to the dishwasher. "Bill, just because I'm happy with someone, doesn't mean you have to argue at the table." Dana got up from the table and walked to refrigerator to get more iced tea. "Bill, why don't we go outside to get some fresh air?" Tara said grabbing his arm. "Good idea. Someone might get hurt." He glared at Fox as he got up from his chair. After Bill had left, the women finished cleaning up the dishes and loaded the remaining dishes into the dishwasher. Fox and Charlie were talking about sports when Dana walked over to Fox. "I see you two are catching up." Dana smiled at the two of them. "Yeah, you could say that." Fox chuckled. Dana walked into the living room to join her mother and sister. "Charlie, she's the most beautiful woman I've ever met." "I remember when I first brought you here. The first time you saw her and the way you looked at her. I had a feeling you two were made for each other." "She sure is a firecracker though." Fox chuckled and Charlie started to laugh too. "Your absolutely right about that." Meanwhile Dana was talking about the wedding arrangements to her mother and sister and deciding on a quiet wedding and a few friends instead of a big fancy one. Melissa was in charge of sending out the invitations for the family and friends. Maggie took the role of getting the dress sizes of the bridesmaids since Dana still had to ask a couple of her friends. Melissa would be a bridesmaid no question about it. Dana would do the floral arrangements while helping out her mother on the garment situation. Fox walked into the living room noticing that the women were in a deep discussion. Dana looked up noticing that Fox grabbed their coats. "I hate to bother you, Dana. Are you ready to go or would you like to stay a little longer?" "I'm ready to go." He handed her coat to her and slipped it over her shoulders. "It was lovely dinner, Mrs. Scully." He gave her a hug and quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks, Fox. I'm glad you could come over and join us." She beamed. Dana hugged her mother and gave her sister a quick hug saying their goodbyes to Charlie, Bill and Tara. They got in the car and drove back to her apartment. Monday 3:00 p.m. Fox Mulder's Office Earlier Fox had called the real estate agent, making an appointment for that afternoon to meet up with him so he could show Dana the place he wanted to buy for them. Fox typed the recent report on the prostitution sting to hand in to the director. Dana walked in the office and she grabbed her coat while looking over her shoulder at Fox who was still sitting in his chair, smiling at her. He printed the document out and shut down his computer. "I know that smile, Fox. So, what's up? Do you have a lead to the next U.F.O. encounter?" Dana said as she put her coat on. "No, I've got a surprise for you but I'm not telling what it is." He got up from his chair and walked over to grab his coat putting it on. "Oh, a surprise. I love surprises." Dana ran her fingertips down his suit jacket and grabbed his tie and yanked him down for a quick kiss and walked out the door leaving him speechless. They rode the elevator to the parking garage. Fox pulled out onto the freeway heading toward Virginia. Dana looked over at him noticing something was different about the ride home. "Where are we going?" "I told you. It's a surprise." Fox drove down the road toward the house that he thought was perfect. He pulled up into the driveway and noticed that the realtor was already there. He parked the car and they both got out of the car and Dana took a look around the property. "Hi, so I see you brought your wife." The older man said. "Soon to be, actually. So, can I take another look around the place?" "Sure, go right ahead. I'll be here if you decide you're still interested." "Thanks." He walked around toward the back of the house looking for Dana and saw her standing by the oak tree in the backyard looking out toward the field. He walked quietly up behind her wrapping his arms around her waist nuzzling her cheek with his day old stubble. She leaned back into his embrace and rested her arms over his. "So, is this your surprise?" "Yeah, so what do you think of this place? It's not to far from work and we can set up a permanent residence here." "Can we take a look inside the house?" "Sure, we can. Come on." He grabbed her hand. "Sir, can we take a look inside?" Fox asked the gentlemen. The realtor opened the doors to the house. Dana was awestruck with the all the features that were included the spacious kitchen and the living room. Fox grabbed her hand taking her upstairs showing her the four bedrooms. Dana walked down the hallway and finally found the bathroom, which was very large and also had a Jacuzzi tub. "So, what do you think?" He asked while he stood in the bathroom doorway. "I really love this place, Fox. But we can't afford this." "You haven't heard the rest of it. The fenced in field of one hundred acres is included in the lot." "Don't worry about it Dana. I'll take care of it. If you really like this place and I certainly do, then I'll purchase it." "How much is this place?" "It's one hundred thousand. I know it's a lot of money but I'd give anything for a little peace and quiet out here from the streets of D.C. wouldn't you?" "Yes, I really do love this place." "Well, then it's settled. Let's go talk to the realtor and get all the paper filled out." They filled out the necessary paperwork. Fox would put a down payment on the place in a couple of days making arrangements with the real estate agent to meet in his office. Fox and Dana left and the real estate agent took the for sale sign out of the yard knowing that this couple intended to buy the property. They drove back to her apartment. Dana began daydreaming about her wedding day. Fox looked over at her noticing that she was staring out the window. "Dana, are you alright?" "Hmm... Oh, I was just thinking." She turned to him smiling at him taking his hand in hers. "Oh, what about?" He squeezed her hand in his. "About the wedding. If Bill is going to ruin it for us, I mean. I know Mom and Melissa are happy about it. I just don't want Bill to ruin it that's all." Dana looked back out the window. Before she knew it they were back at her place. He pulled the car into the parking space shutting the engine off. "Don't worry about it. I know he hates me but if he really loves you, he'll make it through the wedding. If not, then he must not care too much for your feelings. I don't care how much he dislikes me as long as he knows that I love you." Fox leaned over and stole a quick kiss and she returned it lovingly. They walked toward her apartment holding hands. Dana unlocked the door and Fox followed her in taking his shoes off and settling on the couch shedding his jacket and tugging at his tie. Meanwhile Dana went into the bedroom and slipped a pair of running shorts on and a t-shirt. She went into the kitchen to make a spaghetti meal for them. Fox turned the television set on watching the news while Dana prepared their dinner. Fox snuck in the kitchen watching her drain the pot of water and setting the steaming pot back down on the stove and added the sauce in. Fox walked over to her leaning over her shoulder and peeking at the food she just had made. "Mmm... smells delicious." He kissed her on the neck and lightly sucked on her earlobe making her lean back against him. "Thanks, I know how you love my cooking and take out is getting a little boring so I wanted to make us something tonight." Dana kissed him on the cheek. He released her from his grasp and walked toward the refrigerator getting a bottle of wine. Dana grabbed two plates from the cabinet and dished the food out onto the plates and set them on the table. They ate their meals and settled on the couch together. They watched a little television and before he knew it Dana had fallen asleep on him. He turned the television off and tried not to wake her. He carefully picked her up in his arms and carried her to the bedroom and laid her down on the bed. He turned as if to leave but she opened her eyes. "Aren't you going to join me?" she padded the left side of the bed. "Hell, you don't have to ask me twice." He stripped his clothes down to his boxers and slipped in behind her wrapping her in his arms and pulling the covers over them. "I've got to make a few phone calls tomorrow." Dana snuggled back against him. "Who?" "I was going to call my friend Ellen, Kathy and Judy. I was going set up a lunch date with them and ask them if they would be my bridesmaids." "Oh, I've got to talk to the guys too. I'll ask my dad if he wants to be the best man. If he doesn't then I'll ask one of the gunmen. I'll tell my mother but I doubt she will come if she knows that my father will be there." "Where do you want to get married? I was thinking about that nice church about a mile from town. It's quiet out there and away from D.C." He nuzzled her cheek. "Is it Sister Mary's Catholic Church? Its fine with me but I've got to call mom and tell her the details in morning." "Goodnight, Dana." "Sweet dreams, Fox." "Mmm... I'll have sweet dreams as long as I'm with you." He kissed her on the neck and snuggled up behind her. Next Day That afternoon Dana made several phone calls to her friends and arranged a meeting at Garfield's restaurant. Fox went to his father's place to tell him the news, and after that he would drop by the Gunmen's place. Dana met her friends at the restaurant as agreed and wondered if they had any changes in their lives over the past several months. She noted that her friend Judy whom she had met at the academy when she joined the Bureau had arrived. Dana looked over her shoulder and spotted Ellen and then she looked through the crowd of people coming in the doors and her friend Kathy walked in. Dana got up from her table and walked over to them. "Dana, what's going on?" Ellen said. "Yeah, Dana," Judy and Kathy said in unison. "I've got some surprising news. Come over and sit down at the table and I'll explain." Dana smiled at them. "It's great to see all of you." "Well, what's so important that you brought us together?" Kathy asked. "Tell me you found yourself a man." Ellen giggled. "Yes, Dana. Please do tell us." Judy spoke up. "I did. We're getting married next month August 8th at noon, which is a couple of weeks away. I was going to ask if you all wanted to be my bridesmaids. Melissa is going to be there also so I wanted to invite you all to come." "Oh, Dana. We'd love too," The girls spoke out loud smiling at each other. "So, who's the lucky guy? Is it your partner Fox Mulder?" Ellen winked at her. "He's the one. I saw him at the cello recital not to long ago. Man, he's so damn good lookin'. I'm so happy for you." Kathy smiled at her. "I've never met this guy. Do explain or are you going to make me wait til the wedding?" "Judy, you've never met him. Where the hell have you been?" Kathy giggled. Dana reached into her purse retrieving a small picture of them that was taken a couple months ago and handed it over to Judy. "Mmm... Dana I think you got a keeper." Judy nodded her approval and handed back the photo with a smile. "I know. He means so much to me. We've been together for quite some time. He just surprised me the other day and asked me to marry him. So, how could I say I no to him?" They ordered lunch and planned out what kind of dress that they'd prefer to wear. They all agreed to a light blue with white trimming. Dana asked them to come over to her apartment so she could measure them for the dresses. They would meet at her apartment that evening so that Dana wouldn't have to wait until the last minute to rush around getting everyone's fittings. Dana came home unlocking the door and walked in the living room turning the lamp on. She didn't think Fox had come over yet because he still had to visit the guys. Fox walked up the driveway to his father's house and knocked on the door. His father was sitting at the kitchen table drinking a glass of scotch when Fox knocked on the door again. "Fox, what is it? Come in." Bill opened the door for his son. "Dad, I've got some news. I don't know whether you want to hear this or not but I'm going to tell you anyway." "What son?" Bill looked at him with concern. "Dana and I are getting married next month." "I've only met her one time since you've met her. This comes to a surprise to me. You didn't tell your mother did you?" "No, I haven't dad. I was going to ask you if you would be the best man. I am going to ask her to attend but I didn't know if she would be okay with it or not. But does it matter to you if she does attend the wedding?" Fox looked down at the floor. "No, it doesn't matter. I'll be there if you want me too, son. What time and where are you holding the ceremony?" "It's at noon at Sister Mary's Catholic Church just about a mile from town. You do know where that is?" "Sure, I know where that is." "Good. I've got to drop my mom's and tell her the news." Fox walked out the door. Bill watched his son drive away with a slight smile on his face. Fox drove over to his mother's place to tell her about the wedding and that she was invited. "Fox, that's great news. I'm really happy for the both of you. Did you tell your father yet?" "Yeah, I just came from there. I asked him to be the best man and he agreed. So, I just wanted to invite you to the wedding. Its' August the 8th; I hope you can come, but it's up to you." "There was a moment of silence. Then his mom said, "Of course dear." "You can handle dad being there?" "I think we can be civilized about it." "Good." Fox was relieved. "It's at noon at Sister Mary's Catholic Church just about a mile from town. You do know where that is?" "Of course I know where that is. I'll be there." Fox walked out of the house and headed to the gunmen's lair. He knocked on their door. Frohike had unlatched the multiple door locks and opened the door wide enough to greet Fox. "Hey, man. What's going on?" Frohike shut the door. "Mulder, what's up?" Langley looked up from his computer. "Mulder, I didn't think you were coming today." Byers said. "Well, boys I've got a good one for you." He smiled to all three of them. "What? Another government conspiracy cover-up?" Langley snorted and turned his attention back to his computer. "Or, is it another U.F.O. hotspot in Nevada?" Frohike added. "No. Dana and I are getting married. You boys are invited to the wedding." "Oh, so the lovely Dana Scully is getting hitched, huh? I can't believe you two." Frohike sounded disappointed. "Don't worry Frohike you can have my video collection." He chuckled and said his goodbyes to the guys leaving them shocked at the news that he had just told them. "Oh, and before I leave, the ceremony is at noon at Sister Mary's Catholic Church just about a mile from town. You do know where that is?" "Yeah, we'll be there. Never miss this opportunity. I wonder what the bridesmaids look like." Frohike smiled. "Something's never change with you." Langley laughed at turned back toward his computer. Fox had another surprise for Dana. The past couple of days he had added some of his furniture to the place but he wanted to let Dana move some of her furniture into the place, too. He went to the grocery store the day before so that they would have some food in the refrigerator to eat. Joey had called him that afternoon to tell him that he had a wedding gift for the two of them and to expect the delivery men to show up. It was after one o' clock when the van showed up and a big muscular guy got out of the truck and Fox walked over to meet him. "Are you Fox Mulder?" "Yes." He walked around the truck with his helper and opened the back doors revealing a dismantled brass bed and mattress. "Here's a note with your delivery." The man handed the piece of paper to Fox and got into the truck lifting the bed out and taking it into the house. The note was from Joey and Sherry. Fox read the note and smiled to himself "Here's a wedding present from both of us. I hope you enjoy it because it really stood out. I know you two will enjoy it. We'd like to thank you for your gifts; we'll enjoy them. We're sorry that we can't make it but we'll meet sometime in the future." Sincerely, Mr. and Mrs. Reeves Meanwhile at Dana's apartment the girls arrived within minutes of each other. They took their measurements and talked about old times when a knock was heard at the door. Dana opened the door and Fox stood on the other side with a pizza box in his hands. "Hi, so did you visit your parents and the lone gunmen?" Dana gave him a quick kiss on the lips and he deepened the kiss. "I invited the guys and my parents. Mmm... going to greet me like that all the time. I think I could get used to this everyday." He nuzzled her cheek and noticed someone was in the living room and kitchen. "Having a slumber party Dana, without me?" He chuckled in her ear and she turned around and her friends were waiting for her in the kitchen. "I invited my friends over for the fitting of their dresses." She shut the door and he took his coat off, hanging it up and walked into the living room. Dana joined her friends and they were all smiles. "Dana, my goodness. Where do you find that catch?" Judy winked at Dana. "See I told you he was hot and good lookin'." Kathy added. "Gee Dana, I didn't know your partner was that handsome. To think I was going to hook you up with Rod the divorcee. Man, he didn't have a chance." Ellen grinned at Dana. "Dana, I'm going to take a quick shower. Here's the pizza Oh, hi. I'm Fox Mulder." He walked into the kitchen in blue jeans but shirtless with his shirt draped over his shoulder. He looked at her friends and then at Dana. He walked into the bathroom knowing that the women had started giggling after he had left. "Dana, as much as we'd love to stay and chat about your sexy soon to be husband we've got to be going." Kathy said for them all. Dana walked to the front door and hugged them as they went out the door. "See you guys later. Drive carefully on your way home." Dana called out to her friends. Dana locked the door and walked into the living room finding Fox already seated in the kitchen eating a pizza slice. "So, did you enjoy the view?" Fox finished the slice of pizza. "What are you talking about? Walking into the kitchen half naked in front of my friends? I can get you naked anytime and you know it Fox Mulder." Dana walked over to him and sat down on his lap. "Is that so?" "Yeah." She started to kiss him on the neck, nibbling on his earlobe making him groan. He caressed her face making her look him in the face and capturing her lips and nipping down her throat making her shift her weight on his lap. He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom where they made love until they exhausted themselves, turning out the lights early. They had to be at work tomorrow and in one day after that Sherry and Joey's wedding was coming up. Plus they had plenty to do to get their own wedding planned out. St. Thomas Catholic Church Friday July 31 Dana and Fox had arrived around ten o' clock since the wedding was scheduled for noon. That would give Dana some time to get into her dress and meet up with the rest of the bridesmaids. Fox was already in a tux and was mingling with the guests that were already waiting in the church. Sherry arrived about ten minutes later and met up with the girls. Joey arrived with his mother and father who was released from the hospital yesterday evening. Joey walked over to Fox whom was standing looking out the window of the church. "Fox, hey glad you made it. My father got out of the hospital last night but I don't feel he's up to being the best man." "Excuse me, are you Fox Mulder? I'm Sam, Joey's father. I know you were to be the best man. You can fill in for me; I'm just glad to be here for my son's wedding." He hobbled over to a bench and sat down in the front row. "I'm glad you father made it, Joey." "I didn't know he would get out this soon but I'm glad he's here. Here take this ring and when it's time hand it to me." "Okay, that's a very beautiful ring, Joey." "Well, it did cost me a pretty penny, so don't loose it." "I won't." He slipped the ring into his jacket pocket. Meanwhile more family members walked into the church and taking their seats while Fox and Joey walked down to the altar. The priest stood at the pedicel awaiting the bridesmaids to come through the doors. The doors opened revealing two women dressed in light pink with flower designs cover their chest and a headband with flowers interlaced with each other. Dana and Sherry's friend Joan was the last to come through the doors. Fox thought he died and went to heaven. Dana smiled at him while she took her place beside Joan. Finally all the bridesmaids made their way down to the altar and a few moments later Sherry appeared with her father beside her, as they slowly walked down the narrow aisle to "Here comes the bride" being played on the piano. The priest read from the bible saying all the important verses from the book. "Do you, Sherry, take Joey to be your husband, promising to provide him with sustenance, to console him in sorrow, to strengthen him in weakness, to share with him your happiness, and to speak the truth to him out of your love? "Do you, Joey, take Sherry to be your wife, promising to provide her with sustenance, to console her in sorrow, to strengthen her in weakness, to share with her your happiness, and to speak the truth to her out of your love? "You have a ring for Sherry?" Fox took the ring from his coat pocket and handed it to Joey. "Would you put it on her finger and repeat after me: I, Joey Reeves take you Sherry Sampson to be my wife, and with this ring, I marry you and join my life to yours." "I, Sherry Sampson take you Joey Reeves to be my husband, and with this ring, I marry you and join my life to yours." "May the love that you feel and share today continue to grow deeper and stronger all the days of your lives. Having declared yourselves to each other among your families and friends, you are now husband and wife." "Congratulations, and of course you may kiss the bride." The priest smiled at the couple and they kissed passionately and headed down the aisle. Sherry stopped at the end of the aisle and threw her bouquet of flowers over her shoulder. Dana caught the flowers even though the bridesmaids were about to kill each other over a bouquet of flowers. Fox smiled at the pile of women on the floor and walked over to Dana. "Well, I see you didn't waste anytime in catching the bouquet." Fox gave her a quick kiss on the lips. "I didn't run after it like the rest of the women." She blushed at him. "I bet you didn't." He chuckled putting his arm around her shoulders guiding her out of the church. They grabbed a handful of confetti and tossed it over the couple as they walked to their limousine. Fox and Dana had stayed at the church for a little while and then left. Dana and Fox's wedding was a couple of weeks and that away and wasn't too far in the future. August 8th Sister Mary's Catholic Church 11:30 a.m. Fox arrived eagerly awaiting his parent's arrival. He recognized the Gunmen's car as the pulled into the parking lot. They were all dressed in tuxes, which was rather unusual. Fox walked over to them and greeted them with a smile. "Glad you boys could make it." "So, where's everyone?" Byers looked at the church noticing several people walking in and out of the church. "In the church. Dana's with the bridesmaids and my parents are supposed to be here." Fox noticed another car pulling up and it was his father. The Gunmen walked up the church steps and took their seats. Meanwhile, Dana and her bridesmaids were double-checking their garments. Bill Scully popped his head in the door taking a look at his sister in her wedding dress. "Dana, can I have a word with you?" "Of course." The bridesmaids walked past Bill and Melissa stopped looking at Bill. "Bill, don't start now." Melissa gave him a stern look. "I'm not. Can't I have a word with Dana in private?" Melissa joined the girls outside of the room. "What is it Bill?" "You know that I'm not to fond of this guy Fox Mulder. But if it's what my sister wants then I see I can't stop you. God knows I've tried to when we were growing up." "Fox makes me happy. I wish you would reconsider how you felt about him." "I know Mom just thinks he's the world but I'll always be your big brother and how I feel about Fox Mulder is a different thing all together. But for you, I think I can handle it." Bill smiled and hugged her. "Thanks." "I'll be out here when you're ready." He walked out the door and smiled at Melissa. Fox walked up the steps with his father and introduced him to Dana's mother. He took a seat down in the front row while the Gunmen sat behind him. Fox walked out of the church awaiting his mother and as usual she was late but a silver sedan caught his eye. The car had pulled into the parking lot and an older woman got out of the car and he immediately recognized it was his mother. She walked up the steps and Fox grabbed her hand guiding her into the church. "Mom, glad you made it. I'd like you to meet someone." He guided her over to Dana's mother and introduced the two of them. After meeting Dana's mother she took a seat in the front row and noticed her ex-husband Bill was seated down on the other end. Bill looked into her direction and smiled and she returned it looking back at the altar. The piano was playing a verse and the pries had arrived and took his place at the altar where Fox stood waiting. Bill took the opportunity to take his place too. The doors had opened and revealed two of the bridesmaids Melissa and Judy followed by Ellen and Kathy. They walked slowly down the aisle and all eyes were on them. Dana walked slowly down the aisle while Bill took her arm and walked down the aisle. Fox was all smiles while she was walked down the aisle with her brother. Once Dana was at the altar Bill took a seat beside Tara whom was seated by Maggie. Charlie was also there in attendance since he knew he would never forgive himself if he didn't attend Dana's wedding. The priest opened the prayer book and began the ceremony with the following: "For you, the families of the bride & groom, this is a special day in your lives as well. You have gathered to celebrate this joyous occasion with your children, but those children are no longer children. Those who look to you for love have become sources of new love. Dana Scully & Fox Mulder are accepting the responsibility of this marriage for themselves, to build together a life and tradition; as you, their families have prepared them. Their marriage will bring together your two families, drawing together the wisdom of many lives to build their own life. "The rest of you are special friends of Dana & Fox, and you have become even more special by being here to share in this celebration. You have been as family with whom they have shared the good times and the bad times. The qualities of your friendship have enriched the quality of their lives. Now you will witness and confirm the uniqueness of their friendship and love for each other. "All of us here wish to give Dana & Fox the gift of happiness. However, we are limited in our ability to provide such a gift. Happiness is the fulfillment that comes form building their marriage together. Marriage is more than words or ceremony. It is a commitment to be reaffirmed each and every day. Happiness is the product of contentment that each has the strength to accept in their lives what cannot be changed, and the love to change what cannot be accepted. You can make your marriage a living thing. It will be you who begin every day making choices -- to express caring or avoiding it; to reveal love or to be too busy; to acknowledge respect and to take joy from one another or build walls -- and through those daily choices, to renew the wedding vows you will make today. It will be you, also who shapes what is possible for each other, allowing each other the space and the privacy to be unique individuals. When you follow the leading of your own personalities and talents, then each of you will have strength upon which both can depend. So it is that you come together, ready to give of yourselves and to accept each other, valuing each other's special gifts, prepared to work and to trust. "Do you, Dana Scully, take Fox Mulder to be your husband, promising to provide him with sustenance, to console him in sorrow, to strengthen him in weakness, to share with him your happiness, and to speak the truth to him out of your love? "Do you, Fox Mulder, take Dana Scully to be your wife, promising to provide her with sustenance, to console her in sorrow, to strengthen her in weakness, to share with her your happiness, and to speak the truth to her out of your love? "You have a ring for Dana? Would you put it on her finger and repeat after me: I, Fox Mulder take you Dana Scully to be my wife, and with this ring, I marry you and join my life to yours. "I, Dana Scully take you Fox Mulder to be my husband, and with this ring, I marry you and join my life to yours. "May the love that you feel and share today continue to grow deeper and stronger all the days of your lives. Having declared yourselves to each other among your families and friends, you are now husband and wife." Fox revealed her face beneath the veil and they kissed passionately and headed out the door of the church. Family members greeted them by tossing white rice at the two of them and they raced to the limousine and headed to their new home. Fox knew that Joey and Sherry had ordered a brass bed for them as a wedding present and had it delivered a couple of days ago. The family took the opportunity to share some refreshments after the bride and groom had left. The gunmen settled for a slice of cake while the bridesmaids were getting some punch. "I don't know about you guys, but I think that girl over there is really beautiful." Frohike leered over at Judy. "Someone must have spiked the punch." Byers said and set down his glass. "Come to think of it, I think that one is very good looking." Langley smiled over at Kathy. "Oh, I hate to tell you this girls but those three goons over there are looking this way. I think Kathy and Judy you have some admirers." Ellen giggled and looked at her friends. "Who are you talking about? Ewww... gross... I don't think so." Kathy got up from the table and Judy followed her giggling. "See what you did Langley? You scared them off." Frohike frowned. "What? What did I do?" Langely looked over at him. "Enough! You guys you should know better. Stop arguing and let's get out of here." Byers got up from his chair. "Its your fault." Frohike argued. "Not mine. It's all your fault." Langley countered. After the wedding, Fox and Dana got into their limo and headed out of D.C. toward their future home. Little did Dana know that there was another surprise in store for her. Fox handed Dana a flute of champagne. "I'd like to propose a toast. To us and a wonderful, happy marriage." Fox said clinking his glass against hers. He leaned in for a kiss and she returned it passionately. In an hour the driver pulled up to their house and got out to open the door for them. "Fox, what are we doing here? We haven't even moved in yet?" "I know. But I've got to show you something. Come with me." Fox grabbed her hand pulling her out of the car and grabbed the champagne bucket. He retrieved the key from his pocket and opened the front door. The limo driver pulled away. Dana noticed that Fox had left his car behind earlier to hitch a ride with the limo driver so they would have transportation if an emergency occurred. Fox took a hold of her hand. Dana lost everything else she had on her mind as she stepped into the house, he surprised her and picked her up in his arms. "Fox!" "I've got to carry the new bride over the threshold." He carried her in his arms like she was nothing and she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Welcome home, Dana." Fox whispered into her ear and gently set her down on her own two feet and giving her a quick kiss on the lips and she pulled him down for a deeper kiss. "Fox, did you move in without me?" she teased him, walking around noticing that some of his furniture was in the living room. "I brought some stuff over a couple of days ago. But the only thing I am interested in is getting that wedding dress off of you." He started toward her but she was in the mood for something else. "Where do you think you're going?" Fox teased her. She didn't answer him and headed up the staircase holding her dress up, with him in hot pursuit. Dana stood in their bedroom surprised that a new brass bed was assembled. Fox walked up behind putting his hands around her waist nuzzling her neck. "Joey and Sherry's wedding present. In case you were wondering. The note that came with it is over on the dresser if you want to read it." "That was very nice of them." Dana turned in his arms and began untying his bowtie. She then unbuttoned his jacket and slipped it off, landing on the floor. She then moved her hands lower unbuckling his belt buckle and slipping her hands inside his boxer's feeling his rock hard member, and a moan escaped his lips. He stilled her hands and turned her around unzipping her dress and removed her shoes. After he finished undressing her she was exposed to him with only her bra and panties left. She removed the rest of his clothes leaving him in his boxers. He knelt down to pick her up and carry her to the bed, gently setting her down on the silk sheets. "I'll be right back, Dana." Fox kissed her on the lips. "Where the hell are you going?" "You'll see." He walked out of the bedroom and downstairs into the kitchen where he opened the refrigerator, grabbing the bowl of strawberries and the champagne bottle that he had bought in the past couple of days. Dana noticed that a couple of suitcases were next to the dresser, presumably a change of clothes. "Oh, I see you have the refrigerator well stocked," she commented on as he came in with the romantic treats. "When I moved some of my stuff in the other day I went to the grocery store and picked up a few things. Now, where were we?" He set the bowl down and the champagne bottle with the two flutes on the bedside table. He nibbled down her neck and down her chest making wet trails with his slippery tongue. He reached her breasts and unclasped her bra with quick fingers tossing it to the floor. She grabbed a handful of his dark hair between her fingers and gently tugged. He suckled one breast and turned his attention to the other, lavishing it with wet kisses. He returned a sweet kiss to her lips and she nipped lightly on his bottom lip. He licked her now swollen lips and placed butterfly kisses down her chest and down to her navel, nuzzling her with his nose. She arched up from the bed pulling his head in the direction she so desperately wanted him to be. He didn't go directly to her juncture but inhaled her wonderful scent knowing that she was getting wetter by the moment while he licked and worshiped her body with his tongue. He kissed his way back up her body, reaching for a strawberry and placing it between her lips. She opened her eyes and took the fruit into her mouth drawing his finger into her mouth. He moaned and captured her mouth, he stole half of the strawberry from her mouth. She looked at him with a sly grin and before he knew it he was on his back with a fiery red head straddling him. She lightly nipped at his earlobe making him squirm underneath her. He stroked her face while she looked at him. She bent down capturing his lips in a deep slow passionate kiss. She gasped into his mouth and then reached over for a piece of fruit, lightly sucking on it. He watched her tongue swirl around it and finally getting jealous of the attention, grabbed the fruit with his mouth, devouring it and sucking on her fingertips in the process. Making her moan as well, he licked her fingers clean of the juices. She began kissing down his chest; nibbling and placing feather light kisses on his washboard stomach and tracing his abs with her fingertips. She then tugged his shorts right off him. He lifted up while she yanked them down his legs, as she tossed them on the floor revealing his throbbing erection. She stroked his length and kissed the head. She worked him slowly with her tongue then took him in all the way in. He grasped her hair into his fist, tugging at her. "Dana..." he muttered between clenched teeth while she continued taking him over the edge. She sucked him until his orgasm came violently spurting into her mouth. She kissed the head and slowly crawled up his chest. He looked up at her, caressing her breasts in his hands and captured her mouth once again rolling her beneath him. He smiled down at her lovingly and now reached for her panties and pulled them off. He nuzzled her juncture with his nose inhaling her scent. She lifted up off the bed to get more contact. He kissed her inner lips adding two fingers into her wetness, gently stroking her up and down, making her writhe on the bed while she tugged at his hair urging him on to continue his journey. He started slow gentle thrusts on her clit licking, suckling, nipping and rolling the tiny bud with his tongue. "Fox... going to... oh..." she managed to whisper. "Mmm..." he kissed and lapped at her juices before placing a final kiss on her juncture. He crawled slowly back up her body kissing his way back up settling between her thighs and she welcomed him wrapping her legs around his waist urging him to finish what he started. She reached down and guided his throbbing cock into her wet folds. He slid in with ease stroking gently moving up and down bumping her cervix with each thrust. She dug her heels into his lower back, grasping his forearms for leverage while he continued to thrust in and out of her tight hole. A few more strokes and they both climaxed. He emptied his seed into her and she climaxed again their combined fluids begin trickling between them and he collapsed atop of her. She held him to her stroking his back and running her hands through his damp hair while their bodies cooled. "Fox... we're going to have to change these sheets." "Mmm... I'm glad Joey and Sherry bought an extra set of sheets." He chuckled and sucked lightly on her neck marking her, smoothing his tongue over it. "I say we try out that Jacuzzi tub." She placed a kiss on his lips and rolled out from under him, heading toward the bathroom. "I'll replace these sheets and I'll be in." Fox watched her naked body walk into the bathroom. Dana turned on the faucets letting the water fill the tub. Fox replaced the sheets piling the old sheets in a heap and throwing the new ones on the bed not caring what it looked like. He tossed the pillows onto the bed and grabbed the bowl of strawberries, the champagne bottle with the two flutes and walked into the bathroom to join Dana. She relaxed into the tub and the door creaked open. He walked in and kicked the door shut with his right foot and sat down the bottle of champagne and bowl of strawberries on the side of the tub, handing her one of the flutes. They soaked in the relaxing hot water. Dana poured her glass of champagne and Fox held out his glass to be refilled. As she poured the liquid in his glass she took a strawberry and dipped it into the glass before devouring the berry. Fox watched her take another one out of the bowl and made it his own plucking it from her fingers with his mouth then biting it in half as the juices trickled onto her fingers. He lapped the sweetness with his tongue sucking her fingers into his mouth. He pulled her into his embrace resting up against his chest while he rubbed her neck muscles and caressed down her arms. "Dana, was this what you dreamed of?" "What me marrying you or the perfect wedding? It was really lovely even though my father wasn't there. I have to say it was wonderful." Dana stroked his thigh. "Yeah, I really wish Samantha could've been there too." Fox nuzzled her cheek. "Fox, it was a perfect day." She turned in his arms and kissing him passionately on the mouth. "Let's get out of this tub and into that bed." He nipped at her lips. "Oh, up for round two are you?" she smiled. "Always. You're so beautiful, Dana." "You're handsome, sexy, intelligent, charming and you're all mine." She grabbed his hand pulling him out of the tub. "Dana, you've had me since we first met." He picked her up carrying her to the bed dropping her on the bed. "Fox, your such a beast!" she giggled. "Oh, I'm a beast?" He crawled up to her settling down between her thighs. "Yes, you are now shut up and kiss me," she put her arms around his neck. He slipped his tongue between hers kissing her passionately. The End... I'd also like to thank Para8Dice for helping me get a webpage started. I always wanted one since I started surfing the net and looking at all the wonderful web pages out there, now I've got one too.
